No. You will get hands-on time on the academy's equipment during the workshop. We also cover what to look for when buying a home espresso machine, grinder, and accessories so you can invest sensibly.
You will be able to brew consistent espresso, steam milk for cappuccinos and lattes, pour basic latte art, and use manual brewing methods like AeroPress and pour-over to make great filter coffee at home.
The Basic Barista course is geared toward people pursuing a cafe career and goes deeper into commercial workflow, service, and equipment maintenance. The Home Barista Workshop is shorter and focused on what matters for a great cup at home.
